Description :
Brownells Gun Techs and firearm historians Steve Ostrem and Keith Ford are again at Rock Island Auctions House, this time to show us an original Henry Model 1860 Repeating Rifle that was used in the Civil War. It was carried by Michael Shaughnessey, a member of Company A, Illinois 7th Infantry, who took part in many battles, as well as Sherman's March to the Sea, carrying this now patinaed old rifle. Chambered in the standard Henry round, the .44 Flat (later called the .44 Rimfire and .44 Henry)
